Ever wondered how some mums looks effortlessly stylish while you’re throwing on leggings and a crumpled Tee and hoping no-one notices? We feel you. It’s hard juggling the demands of little ones, working, and navigating a never-ending ‘to do’ list, as well as feeling the pressure to leave the house looking like a Insta-worthy influencer.
At Luxe Elle we are here to help, with styling hacks, life tips, and friendly advice. As two busy mums ourselves, we are all about empowering ladies to look stunning with minimal effort, and who better to showcase our brand than real mums, not models.
Meet our stylish supermums, Liane and Sarah, who share their style tips, and life hacks, for surviving motherhood.

What do you think of the Luxe Elle collection? I think it’s perfect for a bit of glam for us busy mums. All the pieces from the collection are beautiful and very on trend.
What are your favourite pieces from the collection and why? My favourite piece was the cream and black floaty skirt, you can dress it up for a night out or wear it during the day with a T-shirt. It’s so versatile and very pretty.
Where would you wear the collection? I would wear the Luxe Elle clothes for nights out, in the office, and during the day if I was going for a day out with the girls. Like I say, they are so versatile and can be dressed up or down with the lifestyle you have.
What is your best style tip? Be yourself. Do you, and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.
Best thing about being a mum? Seeing these little people you brought into the world growing up and having their own personalities.
What is your mum survival tip? Keep calm tomorrow is a new day.
Did you enjoy being a model for the day? The best thing about being a model for the day was being able to try on lots of beautiful clothes in the perfect location, oh, and the Prosecco helped!!
What do you think about Luxe Elle using real mums to model their collection? Using real mums to showcase the new collection is just what we need to see, there are so many new mums who don’t have a lot of time to search for clothes, or just don’t know what to wear, and the clothes that are available are so pretty and easy to wear you feel so comfortable in them.

What do you think of the Luxe Elle collection? The Luxe Elle collection is a gorgeous collection of pieces that are super wearable and can take you from day to night.
What are your favourite pieces from the collection and why? My favourite piece in the collection is the white frock dress. I love a floaty dress in the summer and this dress is everything I love. The material is light and airy without being too sheer and it made me feel very ladylike. I would wear it to a picnic in the park with flats or to a festival or bbq with wedges.
Where would you wear the collection? There really is something for every occasion and the pieces can be easily mix and matched. For example, I love the blue Ibiza dress for holidays, but, equally, it would make a lovely bridesmaid dress.
What is your best style tip? Wear what you like, wear what makes you feel good not what you think you should wear or what others are wearing. We all look good when we feel comfortable and confident.
Best thing about being a mum? The best thing about being a mam is just spending time with my children. Don’t get me wrong, I love to be with my friends and have ‘me time’ too, but I just love my kids company and to have days out and watch them have fun. There’s nothing better than hearing them laugh.
What is your mum survival tip? My survival advice would be to spend time with your friends and share any frustrations with each other instead of feeling like you have to be perfect and on cloud 9 all the time. We’re all doing our best and us mammies are still human after all.
Did you enjoy being a model for the day? Having never modelled before I was super nervous at the prospect and feeling very self critical beforehand but I actually really enjoyed it. It was lovely to feel glam for a day and I was definitely happy to be modelling with one of my best friends, Liane. We always say we’re each other’s biggest fans so I think we helped each other to feel more relaxed.
What do you think about Luxe Elle using real mums to model their collection? I think it’s great. It helps us to see what real women of different shapes, sizes and ages look like in the clothes.
