Luxe Elle is a luxe brand for stylish, successful women who value looking good to feel good every single day. Set up by two mums, who know all about the incessant demands of juggling kids, life and work, Luxe Elle empowers ladies to look stunning with minimal effort.
As a new lifestyle brand, empowering and championing women, it was important for Luxe Elle to include real mothers in our campaign.
Here, our two beautiful model mums, Lindsey and Sam, share their style tips.
Name: Lindsey Carter
Dress size: 8/10
Job: Bannatynes Health Club
Children: Jackson, aged 8
What are your favourite pieces from the collection and why? I loved the shorts and the jacket. They were so soft and comfortable to wear. The lace shirt had gorgeous detail on it and you could really dress it up or wear it casually with jeans.
Where would you wear the collection? All the items were lovely for summer and holidays, especially the floaty dresses. They were so lovely just to pop on with flip flops or with a pair of wedges on holiday. The cute mini dresses were so cute for cocktails, paired with heels.
What is your best style tip? When in doubt, definitely overdress!
Best thing about being a mum? Having a best friend 24/7.
What is your mum survival tip? My tip is having a bottle of wine in the fridge!
Did you enjoy being a model for the day? I loved being a model for the day. The atmosphere was amazing and it was such a laugh even though it was something I had never done before.
What do you think about Luxe Elle using real mums to model their collection? I think it’s amazing to have a brand that use real people to show the clothes and show them on different shapes and sizes.
Dress size: 10
Job: Network Marketing
Children: Elliott aged 8 and Jacob aged 4
What are your favourite pieces from the collection and why? I absolutely love the white shirt and green shorts and I feel like you could mix and match them with so many things.
Where would you wear the collection? I would wear the collection out casual shopping or dressed up for a date night.
What is your best style tip? My best piece of styling advice is you don’t have to wear things how they’re ‘supposed to be’. You can make it your own. I regularly switch dresses back to front for example.
Best thing about being a mum? When my kids tell me they love me or make me pictures, it literally melts me!
What is your mum survival tip? Make time for yourself if possible and never feel guilty for doing that.
Did you enjoy being a model for the day? I definitely enjoyed it and loved how fun and relaxed everyone was. It was totally out of my comfort zone but all the best things happen when you make yourself do new things!
What do you think about Luxe Elle using real mums to model their collection? I love that Luxe Elle have used real mums as I’m all about #nofilter and showing REAL bodies!
